The District has rich traditions of handloom, weaving , cane and Bamboo handicrafts. The Apatani women are known for their excellent traditional designing, color mixing and dying their dresses. These traditions are displayed in the Craft centre maintained by the department of Textile and handicraft, Government of Arunachal Pradesh and in few private emporium.
